Gok Wan, 37, likes to make personal Christmas presents for his loved ones, including parents Myra and John.
‘At this time of year my best mate Elaine comes round and we make special books full of photos, letters and mementoes from the year to give to our folks and close friends,’ he explains.
‘I’ll light candles, bake some treats and put up a tree – a real one, for the pine scent.
‘Then Elaine and I will sit there stuffing cloves into oranges and stitching ribbons on to the gingerbread men we’ve made earlier.’
