Thank God for you Gok! Seeing you and your self affirming belief cheeered me up no end. I love fashion and have always been super confident but that was knocked a few months ago by a ‘health professional’ who grilled me about my weight. While I have never been ‘slim’ I have always tried to be healthy and exercise 3 times a week, so I was knocked flat by the comments I was bombarded with and frankly they left me feeling worthless and downright unattractive. Thank you so much, your evening with Auntie Gok came at a low moment and I feel more self confident and ready to enjoy being me again. Your message was just what I needed and I’m glad that there are people like you out there that stand up to perceptions of ‘beauty’ and let us love ourselves- keep doing it! x

Hi Gok and your great team,

First of all I want to congratulate you on an amazing programme. How to look good naked with a difference. As a disabled person in a chair that also uses crutches I found your treatment of the people with disabilities that were on your programme to be intelligent, thoughtful and generous. I have long wanted to start a tailoring business for people with disabilities. As your programme proved and reminded me there is a great need for this to happen. Disabled people need real time spent on them to show them how to dress and sometimes ingenous ways need to be thought out so as thier clothes dont get damaged.

I also think that a shoe company for disabled people would be a great idea as a lot of the footwear that I get offered on the NHS my granny wouldnt wear.

I wondered about the possibility of setting one or more of these ideas up. What it would take and even if you would be interested in getting involved or could put in the right direction of people with way more technical experience than me.

    Yours Hopefully
    Islay x
